Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Castelo de S. Jorge, assigned to the Lisbon City Council in 1942 and entrusted to EGEAC \u2013 Empresa de Gest\u00e3o de Equipamentos e Anima\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural E.M., has as its mission the preservation, conservation and safeguarding of historical, architectural, archaeological values and landscaping, as well as the cultural goods, both tangible and intangible, which are part of its collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its mission is also to promote and disseminate historical, archaeological, artistic, and scientific research in order to increase understanding of the monument and to support projects for the conservation and preservation of is estate, its integrated heritage and its environmental heritage, and to enhance new museological content to be presented to is visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to administrative documents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Access to and reuse of administrative information held by EGEAC is ensured in accordance with Law No. 26\/2016, of 22 August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sense, it is informed that the exercise of the right of access and reuse of administrative documents must be carried out in writing, through a request that contains the essential elements for the identification of the applicant, namely the name, personal or collective identification data, data contact and signature details, as well as identification of the desired documents and data and the purpose for which it is intended, using the application template available here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application, once duly completed and signed, must be sent to the person responsible for access to EGEAC administrative documents: Sandra Pires Claro, whose contact is rai@egeac.pt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for responding to requests is 10 working days from the date of receipt, as set out in article 15 of Law no. 26\/2016, of 22 August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
