Fernando Pessoa at Castelo de São Jorge

Over the centuries, São Jorge Castle has been inseperable from the history and life of Lisbon. Up on the monument, one can see and feel the whole city – without which the life and work of Fernando Pessoa wouldn´t have come to be. In this visit, we will journey through the poetry and prose of Pessoa, while gazing upon the city he called “Home”, and sang through his words.

This partnership between Casa Fernando Pessoa and São Jorge Castle allows visitors to get to know the Lisbon of Pessoa in a new and unique way, as far as Portugal´s literary tourism is concerned. With Ricardo Belo de Morais.

10€ (ticket exclusive for the thematic visit, not giving access to the full visit to the Castle)

Recommended age is 16 and up. This guided tour is not recommended for persons with reduced mobility.
Price does not include full access to Castelo de São Jorge monument.
