Schedules

Castelo de São Jorge is open 7 days a week, closing only 5 days a year on January 1st, May 1st, and December 24th, 25th and 31st*. *31st of December closed from 1pm

Summer Schedule (March 1st to October 31st) is from 9am to 9pm, with last entry at 8.30pm.

Winter Schedule (November 1st to February 28/29th) is from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 5.30pm.

Camera Obscura / Periscope

APR – SEPT: 10am to 5pm OCT – MAR: 10am to 2pm Maximum 20 participants Various languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish) | by order or arrival Sessions every 20 minutes, each session lasting 15 minutes  Visits subject to weather conditions. *Always check availability at the ticket office.

Archaeological Site

APR – SEPT: 10:30am to 6pm (conditioned access) OCT – MAR: 10:30am to 5pm (conditioned access) Maximum 25 participants To access to the archaeological site, you must attend a guided tour which is included in the ticket price.
