Castelo de São Jorge, in July and August, presents the fourth edition of the Pôr do Sol no Castelo program and features some of the freshest names in jazz, pop/rock, hip-hop and house. The program takes place every weekend, in a relaxed sunset with the best view of the city. In summer, nothing better than watching this sunset to the sound of good music!

Ricardo Toscano Quarteto’s spiritual and bop-laden jazz, with clear influences from Charlie Parker, conveys a freshness, energy and personality that cannot be confused with the original matrix. Whether original or personal interpretations of themes by Ornette Coleman or John Coltrane, the Ricardo Toscano Quartet won unanimous applause. It’s not just good jazz anymore, but brilliance.
